Job Summary

ASC English is seeking a dependable and organized Front Desk Staff member to support evening ESL classes at our Plymouth location. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in an educational, multicultural environment and have strong communication and administrative skills. The essence of this role is being a friendly face and support system for student and teacher questions.

NOTE: This position is perfect for college students seeking part-time evening work in a professional and supportive setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet and assist students, teachers, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and respond to student questions about schedules and school services
• Remain available at the front desk, outside the classrooms, throughout instructional hours to assist students, instructors, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate student attendance and records
• Upload and update student information in the database
• Assist teachers with classroom materials, copies, and forms
• Support ASC’s approved PDSO and DSOs with administrative documentation and record management
• Keep the reception and office areas organized and welcoming
• Perform other administrative duties, as needed

Qualifications required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email, database entry)
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with reliable transportation to school
• Prior experience in an office, school, or customer service role preferred
• Additional language skills are a strong plus
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
