The School Board Secretary provides essential administrative and clerical support to the School Board ensuring accurate recording documentation and public compliance for all board proceedings in accordance with New Hampshire Right-to-Know laws (RSA 91-A). This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong administrative secretarial and organizational skills.
Meeting Minutes & Documentation: Attend all regular special and emergency School Board meetings (typically two weekday evenings per month) to transcribe and compile clear accurate and concise official meeting minutes.
Public Records Compliance: Ensure draft minutes are finalized posted and made available to the public within the legally mandated timeframes per NH RSA 91-A. Maintain organized archived records of all board proceedings motions roll-call votes and
Work Environment: Attendance at twice-monthly evening meetings held at district facilities. Remaining duties (minute transcription and packet assembly) may be completed remotely or during flexible non-meeting hours.
